Order and Shipment FAQ

There are situations where we send out your boater education or where the state sends out your boater education. For the states we do send out the card for, it will take 2-3 weeks for the card to arrive in the mail.

The states where we do not send out the card will require you to contact them directly for further information. You can find the state contact information by going to "State by state information" section.

If your state is listed below, you will get a plastic card in the mail that will come from boat-ed.

Alaska - Arizona - Arkansas - Canada - Colorado - District of Columbia - Georgia - Hawaii - Idaho - Illinois - Indiana - Iowa - Kansas - Kentucky - Maine - Maryland - Mississippi - Missouri - Montana - Nevada - New Hampshire - New Mexico - New York - North Carolina - North Dakota - Oklahoma - South Carolina - South Dakota - Tennessee - Virginia - West Virginia - Wyoming

The states below may have a plastic card or permanent certificate however they are sent by their respective state. for more information contact their state department directly.
