Most permanent cards/certificates are sent automatically once you have completed all the requirements for the state or province you have completed the course for.

States like New Hampshire and New Jersey require a proctored exam to be completed before getting your full certification so your card/certificate is not sent out after completing the online course.

Another example would be Alabama where you would need to do an eye exam in person after your course is complete.

We suggest that you look at the bottom of the certificate you print off after the online course is complete to see how exactly your permanent certificate or card will be issued and if there are any additional steps you must complete.
